BookTini's January 2018 Cocktail: Maple Toddy


It's cold outside, so we're pairing our January Recent Release selection, Behold the Dreamers, with something to heat us up as discuss this story about US citizens and the immigrants who came here looking for more opportunity during some of our worst economic times.

As Busta ordered back in the early 2000s, "Pass the Courvoisier...", but be sure to throw in a bit of maple syrup and hot apple cider for a warm cognac cocktail.

2 parts COURVOISIER VS Cognac

1 tsp maple syrup

2 parts steaming hot apple cider

2 parts hot water

Lemon, sliced into wheels for garnish


Pre-heat your mug by adding hot water and then discard. Build cocktail in mug, adding the hot water last. Garnish with a lemon wheel, get cozy, and enjoy.
