BookTini's August 2017 Cocktail: Rose' Sangria

A sweet treat will go great with our down-and-out-turned-syrupy Chick Lit/Romance selection for August.

Rose' Sangria recipe

6 servings


1/2 cup sugar

2 pears

2 peaches

1 cup raspberries

1/4 cup Triple Sec

1 bottle Rose' wine, chilled


First, make simple syrup by boiling 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and add sugar, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.  Cool completely.

Thinly slice fruit and save a few slices for garnish. Put fruit in pitcher and add triple sec, cold simple syrup, and wine. Stir and serve with saved fruit used as a garnish.

PROTIP: Prepping overnight will pump up the flavor and guarantee fruit is soaked through. For those having events away from home, prep ingredients in a cooler/pitcher with a spigot for easy transport and serving.
