BookTini’s August 2019 Cocktail: Pimm's Cup with Ginger Ale

Pimm’s Cup with Ginger Ale

Pimm’s Cup with Ginger Ale

August is our Girlfriends Celebration month, when we invite our friends outside of BookTini to join us for Drinks & Discussion. It’s a fun time, usually aided by an easy to make cocktail that will pair well with our Chick Lit selection. Easy to make translates to “punch” this month, so we selected Pimm’s Cup with Ginger Ale.

Pimm’s Cup is made with Pimm’s No. 1, a fruity, spicy gin-based liqueur popular in Britain (the setting of our August literary selection). Pimm’s cup is usually sipped at tennis and polo matches with lemonade alone, but we’re adding a twist: ginger ale.

We hope our girlfriends love this sweet summer cocktail, along with our book of the month, Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams.
